LimeWire is another Gnutella client which really is faster than Kazaa, as its slogan says. It certainly is one of the very best Gnutella clients ever. And since one can say Gnutella is perhaps the best p2p network in the world…
LimeWire is based on Java, and therefore can be run on multiple platforms. It is compatible with almost all operating systems.
It is very comfortable, user-friendly, and stable. You do not need to connect to any server to make it work. You can search and download right after you have run the program.
It is equipped with a connection monitor and an mp3 player.
LimeWire is an opensource program. Partly thanks to this, it develops very fast.
